Deepika Padukone on multi-tasking and prioritising tasks: ‘Avoid doings things which I…’
Deepika Padukone is undoubtedly a versatile artist and one of the most successful and bankable actresses in the industry. She is also known for being multitalented as she has a lot of things on the cards including being the brand ambassador of several fashion and beauty brands, owning a premium skincare brand 82°E and even being a strong advocate for mental health awareness through her Live Love Laugh foundation. Having had so much in her kitty, the actress recently spoke on her approach to multitasking, further explaining how she sets her priorities.
‘I don’t do things that I don’t enjoy’
Stating that she can juggle different things but avoids things that she doesn’t enjoy, Deepika said, “Multitasking comes easy to me but there are multiple things that you are excited about. Sometimes, you have to do things that you don’t enjoy doing. But I avoid doing such things that I don’t enjoy. Having said that, there are certain responsibilities and commitments and you have to fulfil those commitments.”
Further speaking on how she prioritises tasks in her life, the actress explained how she looks at everything in life with purpose and meaning, calling it her “biggest filter.”
“At a certain point of time, you reach a stage where you let go of most things and retain only what you know will add value to your life. In initial years, it was about wanting everything but when you come to a stage, you start filtering and choosing things that will better your life,” Deepika added.
